Account & Data Deletion

Last updated 3 September 2026.

Nexsim (package com.nexsim.app) is sales software sold to businesses. Accounts are not created inside the app — an organisation subscribes and its administrator invites staff. Deletion follows the same shape: either your administrator removes you, or the account owner deletes the whole organisation. If neither is possible, write to us and we will do it.

Requesting deletion

Email sales@itsimple.com.my with the subject Account deletion request and include:

  • the email address the account signs in with;
  • the organisation name shown in the app;
  • whether you want your own account removed, or the entire organisation and its records — the second is only actioned on instruction from the account owner.

We reply to that address to confirm the request came from the account holder, then complete it within 30 days.

Doing it yourself, without waiting

Your own account: ask an administrator in your organisation to remove you from the Users screen in the web app. Removal is immediate.

The whole organisation: the account owner can delete it from the web app under Settings → Danger zone. This wipes the organisation’s records outright — there is no delayed purge and no archived copy kept behind the scenes.

What is deleted with your account

  • Your membership of the organisation, and every permission granted to you in it.
  • Your web session and every mobile device session, so signed-in devices are logged out immediately.
  • Any unused invite, password-reset or email-verification token issued to you.
  • Your Nexsim identity itself — name, email address and password hash — once you belong to no other organisation. If you are a member of more than one, only the membership you asked about is removed and the identity remains so the other organisation still works.

Customers, quotations, invoices and visits you created are the organisation’s accounting records rather than personal data of yours. They stay with the organisation and are reassigned to another member; they are removed when the organisation itself is deleted.

What is deleted with the organisation

Deleting the organisation removes, permanently:

  • Every document — quotations, sales orders, delivery orders, invoices, cash sales, credit notes and payments.
  • Customers, leads, products, price books and stock figures.
  • Visit logs, including any check-in or check-out coordinate recorded by the mobile app.
  • Uploaded files and images.
  • The audit trail, all staff memberships, and every session and portal link.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Audit entries naming you — who approved, voided or edited a document, and when — survive the deletion of your account, because they are part of the organisation’s accounting history rather than a profile of you. They hold the action, the timestamp and the name recorded at the time. They are deleted with the organisation.
  • Invoicing and subscription records held by IT Simple System Solutions Sdn. Bhd. for the organisation’s own subscription, where accounting and tax law requires them to be retained.

Nothing else is retained. No backup copy is kept for later use.
